Processing Tips for PP/EPDM Welding Rods:

• Cleaning: Degrease the plastic thoroughly for optimal welds

• Hot Air Welding: Maintain even temperature and move the seam slowly

• Welding Iron: Ideal for spot repairs, small cracks, or holes

• Post-Processing: Remove excess material, smooth the surface, optionally paint

Limitations & Notes:

• Not suitable for load-bearing parts → PP/EPDM does not replace steel or structural components

• Not for all automotive plastics → ABS, PA, PVC, or fiberglass-reinforced plastics require specific welding rods

• Temperature limits → EPDM is heat-resistant but not suitable for extreme engine temperatures
