The welding iron SK60.0 in a set with PE-HD welding wires, PE-HD plates and reinforcing mesh made of V4A stainless steel. This set is specially designed for repairs to plastic parts made of PE-HD, also called HDPE ("high density polyethylene"). This plastic is often used in boats such as canoes and kayaks, containers, canisters, water tanks, fuel tanks, pond filters and pipes. With the three different shapes of plastic you always have the right thing at hand, for example, to repair cracks and holes or to replace missing parts. With the reinforcement net damages can be stabilized additionally or bridged holes. Ideal is the welding piston for fine welding work and in cramped conditions. Due to the selective and localized supply of heat, clean work can be carried out, especially on thin workpieces, without heating the material over a large area. With the surface of the tip, the suitably tailored reinforcement net can be welded cleanly into the plastic.
