Plastic welding rods P/E - Polypropylene / Ethylene
In the case of the thermoplastic P/E (propylene-ethylene copolymer), the toughness of the polypropylene is increased by copolymerization of ethylene. P/E is often used in parts of French and Japanese vehicle models in the form of bumpers, trim, wheel arches and spoilers. Due to its relatively high electrical resistance, P/E is also used for cable sheathing.
