Plastic welding rods PVC-U (Rigid) - Polyvinyl chloride rigid
PVC-U is resistant to acids, alkalis, alcohol, oil and gasoline. Furthermore, PVC is a good insulator. PVC is used for example for window profiles, pipes, floor coverings, insulation, and electrical components in the area.
Polyvinyl chloride hard (PVC-U), is an amorphous thermoplastic plastic. The inherently brittle and hard PVC is adapted with additives, primarily stabilizers and plasticizers to different application areas. PVC-U has high strength, impact strength, stiffness and hardness. PVC-U is resistant to acids, alkalis, ethanol, oil and gasoline. PVC is attacked by acetone, ether, benzene, chloroform and concentrated hydrochloric acid. The melting point of PVC-U is about 220°C to 230°C, the continuous use temperature is -30°C to +60°C.
